BISTO TOGETHER PROJECT TABLES
Project DetailsWilson Brothers were commissioned to design a folding dining table by McCann London for their client Bisto’s ‘Together Project’.
The brief was for a table that could seat four people, fold flat to be carried by one person, and be easily store able behind a sofa when not in use.
Our solution was ‘Rotator’, an 800mm square table constructed in Birch plywood.Each of the four legs is held in place by a small locking pin which once released allows the user to rotate the leg 90 degrees before the same pin locks the leg in an upright position.
A hand numbered edition of seventy tables was produced with discreet lazer-etched branding to the underside of each table top. The seventy tables were given away at a public event at The Brunswick Centre in Central London.
